TriArc was founded with a clear mission: to step boldly into a gap in the construction market where service, reliability, and accountability were too often missing. From day one, we set out to be different — to build not just structures, but lasting partnerships grounded in trust and follow-through. Our work reflects the values that have fueled our growth from a bold idea into a respected force in the industry. This is more than our history — it’s the foundation of every project we take on.
TriArc Construction was founded in March 2014, built on a strong foundation of industry expertise and a commitment to excellence. Prior to launching TriArc, co-founder Shane Deville brought decades of experience to the table, spending eight years with CDI Contractors, where he oversaw Dillard’s Department Store projects nationwide, and sixteen years at Yates Construction, managing large-scale projects across the globe. Along with two partners—one of whom remained a silent contributor—Shane channeled this deep expertise into establishing TriArc.
The name “TriArc” embodies the company's foundational principles and the strength of its inception. “Tri” represents the three core pillars of Trust, Relationships, and Integrity—values integral to every aspect of the company's operations—and honors the three founding members. “Arc,” inspired by the Ark of the Covenant, symbolizes resilience, stability, and structural integrity, reflecting the commitment to quality that TriArc brings to each project.
TriArc’s evolution can be traced through three significant phases. Initially operating as a captive general contractor, TriArc secured its projects exclusively through a strategic partnership with a development entity. This initial phase saw the successful completion of diverse projects ranging from $1 million to $70 million.
The second phase that started in mid-2019 commenced following a buyout of the original development partner. TriArc continued the relationship through a competitive bidding process along with establishing our core values: Do the Right Thing, Do What You Say You Will Do, Gumption, Stick-to-it-iveness, and passion / enthusiasm .
The company's third and current phase began in response to substantial shifts in the construction market, notably a $60 million project that was stopped without prior notice, and the economic disruptions from rising interest rates that led to delays or cancellations of large-scale developments. Adapting strategically, TriArc diversified its project portfolio to encompass a broader range of opportunities, typically valued between $500,000 and $15M. Since January 2023, the company has operated in this smaller project / diversity driven model and is no longer involved with the prior partners.
